Implementation Support
CJIP may recognize technology platforms that support audit-ready documentation, policy navigation, training workflow management, and human-in-the-loop decision-support. Technology is optional and subordinate to the standard.
Certification Independence
CJIP certification is not contingent on the purchase of any technology platform. Agencies may satisfy CJIP requirements through any system that meets the defined standards.
"Implementation support tools help agencies operationalize CJIP standards — they do not replace the standard, the training, or the agency's operational authority."
Registry Criteria
Technology platforms seeking recognition in the CJIP Technical Integration Registry must support CJIP standards without replacing or modifying them. Recognition criteria are in development and will be published following pilot program completion.
Supports structured, legally defensible documentation of training completion, call records, and quality assurance reviews consistent with CJIP documentation standards.
Provides personnel with version-controlled access to approved SOPs, protocols, and reference materials without modifying or overriding agency-approved content.
Supports delivery, tracking, and documentation of CJIP-aligned training without replacing the CJIP curriculum or certification assessment process.
Does not automate emergency decision-making, dispatch routing, or clinical triage. All decision authority remains with trained human personnel.
Registry Status: The CJIP Technical Integration Registry is in development. Recognition criteria, application process, and registry listings will be published following pilot program completion and advisory review.
Approved Implementation Partner
CodeNexus is an optional implementation support platform designed to help organizations operationalize SOPs, policies, training materials, and quality assurance workflows into a secure, auditable institutional knowledge system.
CodeNexus supports trained personnel by improving access to approved information, preserving version control, and documenting workflow activity. It does not replace professional judgment, dispatch protocols, emergency decision-making, or agency authority.
Certification Independence Disclaimer
CodeNexus is not required for CJIP certification. CJIP certification is based on standards compliance, training completion, documentation integrity, and quality assurance practices, not on the purchase of any specific software platform.
What CodeNexus Does Not Do
CJIP certification begins with the standards framework and CIII training — not with technology. Review the certification pathway or contact us to discuss pilot program eligibility.
